L'Osteria Erlangen in Erlangen

First of all: As a larger group, you should always make a reservation, and definitely also alone or in pairs on Fridays and Saturdays, especially in summer. Very good pizzas, nice thin dough, plenty of toppings, wonderful for couples who want to share one of these huge pizzas. You can choose the half / half topping, which is very practical as my girlfriend is a vegitarian. A nice atmosphere, from the Italian tapes to the toilets you can hold what you want, I find it rather unsuitable. If you like it a little spicier, the homemade chilli oil is very good, just ask the waitress for it. The prices are very good for the pizza size, with ~ 12 € you can get full here for two.

The restaurant has a very good hygiene concept. The individual tables are separated by plexiglass panels. The service is very friendly and courteous. And the best thing is the gigantic pizzas that taste great. The best I've eaten in years

Very nice service! Super delicious food and the pizza ... giant pizza would be the better term for it. It's a little noisy, but the homemade raspberry lemonade alone is worth it. We recommend! Gladly again!

Ordered at 7:30 p.m. (Lieferando, desired delivery time 8:15 p.m.). 10 minutes later we received a call that it would take a little longer. After almost 2 hours the food came, of course cold! The noodles are not worth 11.40 €!

The L'Osteria in Erlangen is a guarantee for a wonderful evening every time! The food is always fresh and good and the service friendly and professional. Everything fits here and there is a particularly good atmosphere. We had a great evening!

Large, thin, delicious pizzas with consistently good L‘Osteria quality. The service was very friendly and the waiting time at lunchtime was short and without a reservation. We were able to sit outside in the pedestrian zone on high-quality seating with pretty plant troughs and inside the guest room with a large window front is nice and bright at the front and a little darker at the back but comfortably and stylishly furnished. Prices as usual for L‘Osteria are relatively expensive for pizzas. Since the pizzas are large, you can also divide one and half / half top and have it served on two plates. Half / half topping is also possible without problems if you eat a pizza alone. Everything was very neat and welcoming.

Children order salami pizza, children get Margherita pizza. When we asked, they gave us 3 cold slices of salami ... Ordered spaghetti ice cream without sauce and streusel ... Came with streusel ... Then we had to pay for a salami pizza, on the grounds that it was only a difference of 50 cents and we would have got the three slices of cold sausage. Staff otherwise look friendly, but service looks different to me. Too bad.

We went there for dinner twice in two days. Because we liked it so much. The pizzas are thin Italian, a little oily cheese. Otherwise bruschetta first class, salad very fine and the pasta really good. The outdoor spaces are also nice. The loud and mostly Mexican music from the interior bothered us a bit. It didn't really fit. We would love to come back.

Very nice restaurant. Huge pizzas. Visits are usually only possible with a reservation. Lots of young and young at heart visitors. But the restaurant has to be careful not to lose its soul.

Bruschettas where just burned bread with cold tomato on top which came after the main course. There were glass splitters in my water glass. And there was too much water inside of my baby nieces food cup. The coffee came before the desserts and it took them a long time for everything to arrive, really bad service...

it is a nice and smart restaurant...I like eating Pizza here...

We were there on Saturday (2 people). Big pizza but tasteless, Spaghetti Bolognese underground and a rather disinterested, unfriendly waiter for dessert. Often also ate with customers in the restaurants of LOsteria ... everywhere very good, but here we were once and never again.

Very delicious pizzas?

We (students) have already tried to reserve three times, unfortunately always with the statement that we should just drop by, as walk-in customers have priority! When we were there on Friday, we were initially ignored for five minutes. After we were finally noticed, we wanted to take a seat outside at a free table and asked for a fifth chair to be added to the table, we were forbidden and we had to leave again. Since the restaurant is obviously doing so well despite Corona that you can afford such bad and impolite service, we will avoid it from now on.

In itself a nice restaurant with good food. Unfortunately there is a service or service staff (older Italian). The man has now managed to ruin the evening three times. Always in a bad mood (no, we are not demanding guests). Despite eye contact and speech, you are not served. In the meantime I only come when I see that he is not responsible for me or does not work at all.

Hammer!!! One of the best I've ever had. Very thin base, just the right amount of topping and everything baked with mozzarella.

The food is very tasty and actually deserves five stars. However, since the service was more than underground, I can only give 2 stars. At the entrance we were simply left standing - none of the 5 waitresses who stood at the counter without work and looked at us felt responsible to ask. In the end I had to ask where our reserved table was. The cards were then given to us right away. Then again nobody came to take our order. So I went back to the counter and only then was our meal taken up. The dishes came relatively quickly, just before the drinks .. that doesn't work. If the service continues to be this bad, we probably won't go there again. It's a shame.

Great food & service!

The food was very good. The pizza is huge, actually too big. The service was unfortunately not very good. You also sit outside in the middle of the pedestrian zone, where there is a lot of through traffic.

Super delicious food. Portions are awesome. The staff is friendly and courteous. The coffee is a private label. You can enjoy the coffee on site or buy the beans and take them home.

Pizza was good but ..... 1.We had to wait over 1 hour for the food 2. The pizza was unfortunately cold 3. There were several hairs on the pizza when we pointed this out to the waiter. Did he mean "mh, new pizza?". He was very disinterested We would not recommend the pizzeria

One of the great places to have Italian food. In love with their pasta. Huge area and can accommodate larger groups which is a big plus for our team outings.

Pizza was really good and big, it can easily be shared by two people. The environment is nice and the staff is very helpful and kind, they speak good English.

Very nice restaurant. People are nice and speaks very good English. Pizzas are great with good ingredients and very thin pasta. Recommend. Next time I will go for risotto.

Sound level was quite high (prime time), but the pizzas they serve are above average. Expect a bigger-than-average pizza to hit your plate.

Best place for the Italian food in Erlangen. Loved their pizza. Kids friendly environment. Staff are quit nice and friendly.

Great food and service. Their portions are huge and if you wish, you can have two different pizza-halves, which makes it ideal for sharing. It's been the second time we've dined here and both times I find it extremely loud, though....Next time we will visit L'Osteria either before 18.00 or after 20.00, which is their busiest times. Do keep in mind that a reservation will be good. Prices are reasonable. For two pizzas (one shared between two ladies) three drinks and a dessert we paid €50, including a tip.
